All tickets must be purchased from this website or by calling our ticketing partner, EzTix at the number on the website using Visa, MasterCard or AMEX. Ticket sales are cut-off at 4 PM the day prior to the next day’s Colonia Roma Cultural Walking & Gourmet Foodie Tour and at midnight the evening prior to the next day’s Centro Histórico Taco Tour and Condesa Taco Tour.

By booking in advance you will increase the chances of getting the number of tickets, the date and the time desired. Walk-ups with cash will not be accepted.

Colonia Roma Gourmet Foodie & Cultural Walking Tour: Yes, please notify us in advance at time of ticket purchase so we have time to arrange vegetarian requests with our restaurant partners.

Centro Histórico Taco Tour: This tour does not have vegetarian options so is not appropriate for vegetarians or those who do not eat pork and beef.

Condesa Taco Tour: This tour does not have vegetarian options so is not appropriate for vegetarians or those who do not eat pork, beef, chicken or fish.

Please notify us when purchasing your tickets if someone in your party has dietary restrictions or aversions to certain foods. Dietary needs can be accommodated if we are able to prepare for them in advance.

Colonia Roma Gourmet Foodie & Cultural Walking Tour: Mexican foods originating from various regions of the country will be tasted. This tour features eateries serving “elevated” cuisine prepared by some of the city’s top young chefs at eateries serving traditional Mexican with a twist, as well as specialty food shops.

Centro Historico Taco Tour: This tour features 6 types of authentic and delicious street food tacos. This tour is not appropriate for vegetarians or those who do not eat pork and beef.

Condesa Taco Tour: This tour features 6 types of authentic and delicious street food tacos. This tour is not appropriate for vegetarians or those who do not eat pork, beef, chicken or fish.

Yes, all our tours include non-alcoholic as well as alcoholic beverages. Our Centro Historico Taco Tour and Condesa Taco Tour include a bottled water.

After a tour with Tasty Bites Food Tours most participants will not require lunch. After the combined food and drink tastings as well as stops for historical, architectural and cultural insight, participants should feel comfortably full.

Colonia Roma Gourmet Foodie & Cultural Walking Tour: This tour is stroller accessible but there are stairs on the tour and pieces of broken sidewalk to contend with. For this reason the tour is not wheelchair accessible.

Centro Historico Taco Tour: This tour is stroller and wheelchair accessible but sidewalks are very crowded and sometimes narrow with broken pieces of concrete.

Condesa Taco Tour: This tour is stroller and wheelchair accessible but sidewalks are sometimes crowded and there are broken and uneven sections of sidewalk to contend with.

Yes, bathrooms are available along the tour at select food tasting locations.

Colonia Roma Gourmet Foodie & Cultural Walking Tour:  Tour is 3 hours and covers a distance of 1.8 miles with the majority of time spent standing or walking at a moderate pace. There are also several sit-down locations on the tour.

Centro Historico Taco Tour: Tour is 3 hours and covers a distance of 1.65 miles with the majority of time spent standing or walking at a moderate pace. There are a few sit-down locations on the tour.

Condesa Taco Tour: Tour is 3 hours and covers a distance of 1.85 miles with the majority of time spent standing or walking at a moderate pace. There are a few sit-down locations on the tour.

Taking a Tasty Bites Food Tour at the beginning of your trip is strongly recommended so you can revisit the area and explore with the confidence, knowledge and insight gained on the tour.

Colonia Roma Gourmet Foodie & Cultural Walking Tour: Tour does not end where it begins but it does end nearby. At the end of the tour your guide can point you in the direction you are headed.

Centro Histórico Taco Tour: Tour ends where it begins.

Condesa Taco Tour: Tour ends within a block from where it starts.

The tour is held rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast in advance and dress appropriately. Please bring an umbrella, weather permitting. Tickets will not be refunded due to bad weather.

No, there is no waiting list if a tour date and time is sold out. However, there is a good chance an additional tour will be added on that day. Please contact us if you do not see availability for your desired date and time.

Tips are greatly appreciated by our guides! The standard in the service industry is 10%-15%.

Yes, children are allowed on the Colonia Roma gourmet foodie tour and the Condesa taco tour with the purchase of admission. However, the tours will last 3 hours with lots of standing and walking so please keep this in mind. Parents must decide whether the tour is appropriate for their child.

The Centro Histórico taco tour includes a stop at a cantina where children are prohibited. If you would like to take this tour with children please contact us at info@tastybitesfoodtours.com.

No, if the child will not be partaking in the food tastings you do not have to purchase a ticket for them but please let us know at the time of ticket purchase if you will be bringing an infant/toddler.

We ask that tour participants refrain from shopping until after the tour so we can stay on our food tasting schedule and allow for historical, architectural and cultural commentary. Tasting location stops are scheduled so the food is freshly prepared when participants arrive.

Yes! Participants are encouraged to take photos and videos during the tour.

Yes, all tour attendees will have to purchase a ticket in advance. Ticket costs cover the food tastings as well as the wage of the tour guide who is providing interesting food, historical, architectural and cultural information during the tour.

You should wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera, sunscreen and an umbrella, weather permitting. An extra layer of clothing is recommended for cooler days. Most importantly, bring an appetite!
