Our tour route is a flat 1.65 miles and suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Tours run seven days a week at 11:00 AM.
Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, as well as sunscreen or umbrella.
The combined food tastings provide enough for a hearty lunch.

Your guided food tour in Mexico City will begin in the Centro Histórico near the Zócalo (main plaza) and Bellas Artes. From there, your guide will navigate you through the Centro Histórico like a real local on a 3 hour journey that will delight you with authentic and tasty Mexican street tacos before enjoying a memorable experience at a historic cantina. You will experience interactions with friendly vendors while learning about Mexico City’s street food, culture, and history. Participants are welcome to eat as much as they want and your guide will offer a suggested portion size at each stop so you have room to try everything. By the end of the 3 hour tour, you will have enjoyed the equivalent of a hearty lunch. The ticket price includes all food and drink tastings and a bottle of water.
Between tastings, the Centro Histórico’s history will unfold through its architecture and storied streets. You will be met by your guide in front of the 7-Eleven at the corner of Calle de Filomeno Mata and Avenida 5 de Mayo. This location is an easy 5 block walk up Avenida 5 de Mayo from the Zócalo or 2 blocks down Avenida 5 de Mayo from Bellas Artes. After covering 1.65 miles the tour will end where it starts on Avenida 5 de Mayo.

All tickets must be purchased from this website or by calling our ticketing partner, EzTix at the number on the website using Visa, MasterCard or AMEX. Ticket sales are cut-off at 4 PM the day prior to the next day’s Colonia Roma Cultural Walking & Gourmet Foodie Tour and at midnight the evening prior to the next day’s Centro Histórico Taco Tour and Condesa Taco Tour.
By booking in advance you will increase the chances of getting the number of tickets, the date and the time desired. Walk-ups with cash will not be accepted.
The tour is held rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast in advance and dress appropriately. Please bring an umbrella, weather permitting. Tickets will not be refunded due to bad weather.

Centro Histórico Taco Tour: This tour does not have vegetarian options so is not appropriate for vegetarians or those who do not eat pork and beef.
Condesa Taco Tour: This tour does not have vegetarian options so is not appropriate for vegetarians or those who do not eat pork, beef, chicken or fish.
You should wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera, sunscreen and an umbrella, weather permitting. An extra layer of clothing is recommended for cooler days. Most importantly, bring an appetite!
Yes, children are allowed on the tour with the purchase of admission. However, the tours will last 2- 3 hours with lots of standing and walking so please keep this in mind. Parents must decide whether the tour is appropriate for their child.
