Your guided walking food tour in Centro Histórico will begin near the Zócalo (main plaza). From there, your guide will navigate you through Centro like a local on a 4 hour street food eating adventure that will delight you with authentic and tasty Mexican street food, chocolate and pulque before enjoying a memorable experience at the city’s most historic cantina sipping premium tequila. You will encounter interactions with friendly local vendors while supporting their local businesses and learning about Mexico City’s street food, culture, and history. You are welcome to eat as much as you like but your guide will offer a suggested portion size at each stop so you have room to try everything. By the end of the 4 hour food tour, you will have enjoyed the equivalent of a large lunch. The ticket price includes all food and drink tastings, vendor tips and a bottle of water.

Between tastings, Centro Histórico’s history will be on display through its architecture, storied streets, fabulous street art and historic landmarks. You will be met by your guide in front of the Los Especiales taquería at Francisco Madero 71. After covering 1.8 miles the tour will end near where it starts.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance? Is cash accepted?

All tickets must be purchased from this website or by calling our ticketing partner, EzTix at the number on the website using Visa, MasterCard or AMEX.

By booking in advance you will increase the chances of getting the number of tickets, the date and the time desired. Walk-ups with cash will not be accepted.

What happens in case of bad weather?

The tour is held rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast in advance and dress appropriately. Please bring an umbrella, weather permitting. Tickets will not be refunded due to bad weather.

Does the tour have vegetarian options?

What should I bring with me?

You should wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera, sunscreen and an umbrella, weather permitting. An extra layer of clothing is recommended for cooler days. Most importantly, bring an appetite!
