Our tour route is a flat 1.8 miles and suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Your guided Día de los Muertos walking food tour in Centro Histórico will begin near the Bellas Artes. From there, your guide will navigate you through Centro like a local on a 3+ hour adventure that will delight you with authentic and tasty Mexican Día de los Muertos food traditions including mole negro, champurrado, tamales and more. Along the way  you will learn about the customs and history of this special time of year. By the end of the 3+ hour food tour, you will have enjoyed the equivalent of a large lunch. The ticket price includes all food and drink tastings, as well as vendor tips.

You will be met by your guide in front of Café de Tacuba located at Calle de Tacuba 28. After covering 1.7 miles the tour will end near where it starts.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance? Is cash accepted?

All tickets must be purchased from this website or by calling our ticketing partner, EzTix at the number on the website using Visa, MasterCard or AMEX.

By booking in advance you will increase the chances of getting the number of tickets, the date and the time desired. Walk-ups with cash will not be accepted.

Are there bathrooms on the tour?

Yes, bathrooms are available on all tour routes at select food tasting locations.

What happens in case of bad weather?

The tour is held rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast in advance and dress appropriately. Please bring an umbrella, weather permitting. Tickets will not be refunded due to bad weather.

What should I bring with me?

You should wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera, sunscreen and an umbrella, weather permitting. An extra layer of clothing is recommended for cooler days. Most importantly, bring an appetite!
