Our tour route is a flat 1.4 miles and suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Tours run weekly Tuesday - Saturday at 1 :30 PM.

Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, as well as sunscreen or umbrella.

The combined food tastings provide the equivalent of a large lunch.

Your 3 hour guided vegan street food tour in Mexico City’s Roma Norte neighborhood will begin one block from Av. Insurgentes. From there, your guide will navigate you on a foodie trek highlighted by divine tacos and other Mexican food favorites made from the freshest of local farm-to-table ingredients. You are welcome to eat as much as you like but your guide will offer a suggested portion size so you have room to try everything.

During the tour you will encounter friendly interactions with taquería, vendor and restaurant staff. While supporting local businesses and tasting the best of the local vegan food scene you will learn about the history of each stop and where the food was sourced, along with commentary about the local culture and Roma’s storied history. The ticket price includes all food and drink tastings and vendor tips. At the end of your 3 hour food tour excursion you will have enjoyed the equivalent of a considerable lunch.

Between tastings, guests will marvel at the fashionable Roma neighborhood’s stunning architecture, street art and exploding food scene. You will be met by your guide at Manzanillo 22 in front of Por Siempre Vegana Taquería. After covering 1.4 miles the tour will end at Plaza Rio Janeíro.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance? Is cash accepted?

All tickets must be purchased from this website or by calling our ticketing partner, EzTix at the number on the website using Visa, MasterCard or AMEX.

By booking in advance you will increase the chances of getting the number of tickets, the date and the time desired. Walk-ups with cash will not be accepted.

What happens in case of bad weather?

The tour is held rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast in advance and dress appropriately. Please bring an umbrella, weather permitting. Tickets will not be refunded due to bad weather.

What should I bring with me?

You should wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera, sunscreen and an umbrella, weather permitting. An extra layer of clothing is recommended for cooler days. Most importantly, bring an appetite!

How much food is served on the tour?

After a tour guests will have eaten the equivalent of a large lunch. After the combined food and drink tastings as well as stops for historical, architectural and cultural insight, participants should feel comfortably full.

Are there bathrooms on the tour?

Yes, bathrooms are available on all tour routes at select food tasting locations.
